Trains, or the absense of Trains ...

Recently, while I was in the West of Ireland, I came across a disused section of the old Mayo Railway. I have always been fascinated by Trains, and everyhing about them, and I found it very inspirational just to be standing in the spot where thousands of Passengers had passed over, many years ago, travelling on to so many destinations in all parts of the World. Yes, I felt another 'Train Song' coming on ! I have written quite a few in the past, including Strange Train, The Harcourt Line, Railroad Dreams and Tears Along The Tracks. I'm not sure where this one will lead to, so who knows ? Aidan Butler took a few interesting shots of me on the line. As well as being the best Music Producer and Sound Engineer in RTE, Aidan's a fair good photographer, as you can see from the attached.
