World Of Bluegrass, Nashville, 2011, Niall Toner,Jimmy Sunnebrandt, Martino Coppo warming up.

The Annual World Of Bluegrass Festival under the auspices of the International Bluegrass Music Association [ IBMA ] took place in Nashville, Tennessee last week. I performed a showcase at the Mountain Music Entertainment Suite 1814, and later that night I also performed at the EBMA suite. At fairly short notice I was joined by two amazing Musicians, Martino Coppo of Red Wine on Mandolin, and Jimmy Sunnebrandt of G2 and the James King Band on Upright Bass. They did a superb job on my original material, and both shows were a great success. Guys, I owe you one !

IBMA also provide me with a great opportunity to meet with some of my heroes in Bluegrass Music, as you can see from these photos.

RTE Radio One Producer, Aidan Butler also worked with me on two live Radio Shows from the Nashville Visitors Centre, one of which went out last Sunday night, and the second is broadcast next Sunday at 11pm under the 'IN Concert' banner. We also recorded a Documentary on the Music of Bill Monroe which will be broadcast at a future date on RTE Radio One. Niall, Jonesborough, Tennessee.
