'The Moving Finger Writes' is the opening line from Omar Kayam's great poem about the passage of time, which is well-worth looking up, and perfectly describes in it's translation from the Turkish language,just how easily time slips by. I am reminded of that very passage of time this day, March the 25th, 2011, as today is the ninth anniversary of the formation of the Niall Toner Band in it's present line-up. It literally does feel like just yesterday when Clem and Dick and I first began writing and rehearsing together in 2002. In those nine years we have played just about everywhere, released three all-original CDs, and achieved successes beyond our dreams around the World. Today, as I write this, the Sun is shining, Spring has sprung, and Nature is celebrating. So are we, and here's to the next set of musical adventures over the next nine years.
