The first Annual Big Music Week featured a whole series of live music events on RTE Radio One. On Saturday the 16th. of October, Niall Toner and Sandy Harsch hosted a concert at the Sean O'Casey Community Centre on East Wall Road in Dublin's Docklands. Guests included I Draw Slow, The Sick and Indigent Song Club, Miss Paula Flynn, Gerry 'Banjo' O'Connor and the NTB. Lots of original songs and tunes were performed in front of a live audience, and the entire operation was overseen by Producer, Aidan Butler. The show was Broadcast on the WWW, and reactions have been very positive, indeed. This looks like becoming a firmly established Annual event. Thanks to all the team, the folks at the Centre, and to Anne Marie Power, Editor of Music and Entertainment at RTE Radio One for coming up with the overall concept.
